Black History Month Children’s Books

The other day I was going through Olivia’s books and I realized that a majority of her books were fiction and based on Disney characters, fairies, unicorns, and the like. Now that she is getting older I think it’s time to incorporate more nonfiction books into her growing library.

With February being Black History Month, I thought it would be perfect to dive right in and get some new books. In addition to books focusing on prominent Black figures, I picked out some books with Black main characters and books featuring diverse characters.

Stevie usually gets the books that Olivia has grown out of and I was able to find a few new ones for him as well. Below you will find our picks and you can click each book to shop. (A lot of the books are on sale!)

Back At It

I know it has been awhile.

I want to thank everyone who has reached out to me with well wishes, support, and concern over the past few months. I’m not one to post extremely sensitive and personal information on social media but I will say that with everything that has happened, I am thankful that we were able to be physically present here in Texas. God definitely had a plan for us when He brought us home. On a brighter note, I’m finally ready to get back in the swing of things and post some content so be on the look out for some new posts 🙂
