Welcome to part one of my Father’s Day gift guide for 2020. Some of these items I have purchased as gifts in the past and some of these items I currently have my eye on.

In my experience, you can’t go wrong with Lululemon or a cologne for a gift. Joggers are so on trend right now and are perfect for lounging around, working out, or running errands. My husband has a couple of pairs that he loves but I know the Lululemon ones are a favorite. We have gifted our fathers polos from Lululemon and those are always a hit. The quality is great and they wash well. My husband claims that the Lululemon underwear are the softest and will not wear any other brand now. They sell these individually or in sets.
These are my favorite colognes that my husband owns. Some of these I discovered through my mom since she has purchased most of these for my father. Since it’s hard to explain what each one smells like, I will list the notes for each.
- Tom Ford Noir Extreme: Warm and Spicy; Cardamom, Orange Flower, and Sandalwood (This one is $$ but it is SO good!!!!)
- Montblanc Legend Eau de Toilette: Bright and Clean/ Woody Floral; Italian Bergamot, French Lavandin, Pineapple Leaves, Jasmine, White Cedar, Rose, Evernyl, Sandalwood, Tonka Beans (This one is a good everyday cologne)
- Hugo Boss Unlimited: Fresh and Woody; Mint, Pineappl, Precious Woods and Labdanum (This one is on major discount since you can no longer buy it at a department store)
- Dior Sauvage: Earthy and Woody; Bergamot, Pepper, Amberwood (This one is a good date night cologne)
My husband loves bourbon so we have quite a variety of drinkware for that. These tasting glasses and this set are some of his favorites. To make bourbon cocktails or any cocktails for that matter, a good bar set is also a must and would make a great gift- especially during this time when everyone is staying home and making their own cocktails. When my husband isn’t drinking energy drinks or pre-workout he loves a good espresso. This Nespresso machine is a matte black one that brews both coffee and espresso; we are obsessed with ours. I am thinking my husband might need his own for his office so this is a gift I am highly considering.
Now let’s move on to shoes and accessories.

David Yurman bracelets make great gifts for any occasion. The first one I bought my husband was the black one. The medium box chain bracelet is actually what I gave my husband for our anniversary this year. David Yurman has fast shipping and they even send you a gift bag and wrap to make it extra special.
MVMT has a pretty good range of watches and accessories for both men and women. This particular watch is a casual one that I could see my dad or my husband wearing on the days they choose to not wear an Apple Watch.
The only sunglasses my husband owns are from Oakley or Rayban. His pair of Raybans are beat up and I know he needs a new pair so I am thinking of getting these Quay ones for him because they are under $50 and I remember he tried on a unisex pair that I own from the same brand and he liked them.
For working out my husband currently uses a very small backpack and I think he would really like a duffel bag that could be used for the gym or for travel. This one has a ton of pockets, even one for a laptop, and also a “shoe garage” that keeps your shoes separated from clothes etc.
And lastly shoes! These black ones are a staple. Steven wears them with jeans, chinos, and shorts. They are also super comfortable. The New Balance shoes are also great because they are neutral which makes them versatile.
I hope this post was helpful! Later this week, I will have part 2 (technology focused) and 3 (outdoor/athletic) up or I may just combine them to make it easier. Thanks for stopping by!
